Adult ADHD Assessment & Evaluation

ADHD Testing That Meets You Where You Are – Modern, Personalized, and Insurance-Friendly

Traditional ADHD assessments are outdated, rigid, and often fail to capture the full picture of how ADHD presents in real life. My modern Adult ADHD evaluation is different. Using an eight-session approach, we break the process into focused, manageable steps—so you can understand your brain, track real-world patterns, and get clarity on your diagnosis without the stress of a four-hour test.

Traditional ADHD Testing is Stuck in 2010. My Approach is Built for Today.

Why Choose My ADHD Assessment?

Most adult ADHD assessments haven’t been updated in over a decade. They don’t account for:
Technology’s role in attention & focus
How modern work/life demands impact symptoms
Co-existing challenges like anxiety, depression & trauma
The hormonal impact of postpartum & perimenopause on ADHD

Instead of a single, overwhelming four-hour assessment, my approach meets you where you are, using a real-world data tracker and eight 30-minute sessions to accurately identify ADHD or other focus-related concerns.

How My ADHD Assessment Works

Step 1: Understanding Your History
We start by reviewing your developmental history, past treatments, medical history, and ADHD symptoms. You’ll also complete the ASRS-v1.1 ADHD screening tool, and we’ll explore how ADHD presents in your daily life.

Step 2: Tracking Your Experience
I’ll create a personalized data tracker for you to log patterns in focus, mood, procrastination, and external factors (e.g., work stress, parenting, school, relationships).

Step 3: Real-Time Assessment & Skill-Building
Each session, we’ll review your tracker together, discuss shifts in symptoms, and determine whether medication, accommodations, or behavioral strategies would be most beneficial.

Step 4: Diagnosis & Accommodations
At the end of eight sessions, I’ll provide a formal diagnosis if applicable, as well as an accommodation letter or prescriber report if needed.

Why Work With Me?

I’m Victoria Prisco, a Licensed Professional Counselor & Special Education Teacher with over 15 years of experience studying the ADHD brain.

💡 I understand that you’re here for real answers, not just to talk about how ADHD impacts your life.
💡 My approach is actionable, skills-focused, and built for the way neurodivergent brains actually work.
💡 We’ll assess whether ADHD is the root issue or if anxiety, trauma, or hormonal changes are playing a role.
💡 Unlike traditional assessments, this process is insurance-covered, making it more accessible.

Insurance & Pricing

✅ Insurance: Most insurance plans cover the sessions, unlike traditional 4-hour assessments, which are typically out-of-pocket.

I am in network with Aetna & UHC plans

❌ Letters for Accommodations & Prescribers: If a letter is needed, there is a separate out-of-pocket charge for report preparation.
