Does your child struggle with:

  • Cooperative play, often acting impulsively
  • Having difficulty taking turns
  • Difficulty communicating with peers
  • Maybe their emotional reactions seem big when things don’t go their way, leading to isolation or trouble at school.
  • Or perhaps they worry about how others perceive them, causing them to shut down.

Growing up in today’s world presents unique challenges.

Socializing can be a minefield, filled with unspoken rules and confusing cues. Bullying can be relentless, leaving your child feeling isolated and afraid. Expressing their identity and managing emotions can be overwhelming, leading to anxiety and frustration.

The Cycle of Frustration

When children lack the tools to communicate their emotions verbally, frustration builds. This can manifest in outbursts, meltdowns, and tantrums, leaving both the child and parents feeling helpless and lost. Parents often yearn to understand their child’s experience and provide the support they need, but traditional approaches may not always be effective.

As a therapist with over 15 years of experience, I’ve heard countless adults say their childhood therapy wasn’t a good fit. That’s why I created something different. It is my mission to create an experience for kiddos in today’s digital age that breaks this cycle.  .

Building Confidence Brick by Brick:

Completing tasks and building friendships within the game fosters a sense of accomplishment and belonging, boosting your child's self-esteem and confidence. This newfound confidence empowers them to translate these skills into real-life interactions.

Natural Opportunities for Growth:

As they navigate the world of Minecraft, natural opportunities arise to discuss real-life challenges. Working together to gather resources can spark conversations about anxiety and coping mechanisms. Building a shelter together can open doors to discuss navigating social situations or feeling isolated.

Focus and Engagement:

The interactive nature of Minecraft keeps many children focused and motivated throughout the therapy session. This allows them to absorb information and practice skills more effectively.

Flexible Participation:

I understand that every child is unique and we all have our days. Your child can participate in discussions through audio only, or engage in both discussion and gameplay – the choice is theirs! This ensures choice, empowerment and a comfortable environment for growth.
